Goertzen Christmas 2008

This year we had a great time being back in Hillsboro for the Goertzen family Christmas. We got to spend several days there and just have lots of fun with family and relax a lot, too. Unfortunately, we didn't take near as many pictures as we probably should have, but here's just a few to share. Here's Hannah ringing her bell during some singing of some Christmas carols sung by the kids:Papa reading the Christmas story with all the grandkids acting it out (with nativity figurines). The Goertzen family does this every year and all the kids look forward to which character they get to be!

Will and Noah cheezin' for the camera

On Christmas morning, several of us in the family went to visit Will's great aunt Anna in the nursing home. She usually joins us at the house for holidays, but was not able to get out this year. It was a special time for all--especially just seeing 4 generations of family together. Here's a pic of the generations together: Great Aunt Anna, Dad, Amy (Will's sister), and Alice and Sadie (two of Amy and Jeremy's girls). Hannah had a great time playing in Aunt Anna's small room with Alice and Elsie and eating cookies that the staff provided!
