A Day At The Farmstead

Saturday Mom and Dad took me to this really cool place in Kansas City (Overland Park actually) called Deanna Rose Farmstead. It's basically this really neat place with tons of animals (many of which you can pet, feed, and hold yourself!), plus playgrounds, a fishing pond for kids, an old schoolhouse with crafts for kids, pony rides, tractor races, and LOTS more....and it's all FREE admission! It was recommended by friends and some family members, so we thought we'd try it out! We definitely recommend it to anyone with kids if you're ever in the KC area! So, here's just a few pics from the day. I was pretty excited on the way there as mom and dad told me we were going to see cows, horses, ducks, sheep, pigs...and more!
