celebrating 40 years

On August 9th, Will's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. To celebrate and honor them, we had a big come-and-go reception at their church. A good time was had by all! All four Goertzen kids were there with their families except for Tonya (Phil's wife) and their two littlest, Micah and baby Jenna!


The one pic from the whole day's festivities that we got with Hannah. The day was going to be super busy (church, lunch, prep for reception, reception, tear down/clean up, etc) so she spent quite a bit of time with my parents and my two sisters and their families! (Hence why she is not in many pics from the day!)

We had a great time with Will's family and then enjoyed heading home for a few relaxing days together as a family (just the three of us) while Will had some time off! More on that to come...
